Never Look Down the Barrel
Never look directly into the barrel, even if the gel blaster appears unloaded. If a blockage occurs, remove the magazine, engage the safety and make sure the product is fully unloaded before inspection or cleaning.
Safe Loading and Maintenance
Remove the magazine and clear the chamber before cleaning, adjusting or maintaining the gel blaster. Never perform maintenance while the product is loaded or pressurised.
Keep Away from Children and Pets
Store gel blasters, gas, batteries, gel balls and accessories securely and out of reach of children and pets.
Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
Always point the pistol in a safe direction, remove the magazine when inspecting it, and wear appropriate eye protection.
Gas Magazine Is Leaking
Dry O-rings after storage are the most common cause of gas leaks. Apply a small amount of pure silicone oil to the affected O-rings to help restore the seal. Do not use petroleum-based oils or lubricants, as they may damage rubber seals.
After each session, leave a small amount of gas in the magazine to help keep the seals under light pressure and prevent them from drying out.
Watch our gas leak fix tutorial for step-by-step instructions.
Every GBB pistol sold by CyberTrigger is leak-tested before dispatch.
Trigger Cannot Be Pulled
Check whether the safety is engaged. Move the selector to the firing position before trying again.
Do not force the trigger. If the safety is off but the trigger still cannot be pulled, remove the magazine and inspect the pistol before further use.
Pistol Does Not Fire After Inserting the Magazine
After inserting a loaded magazine, pull the slide fully to the rear and release it. This loads the first gel ball and places the internal firing mechanism into the ready position.
The slide normally only needs to be manually cycled for the first shot. The blowback action should cycle and load subsequent shots automatically.
Pistol Does Not Shoot
The magazine may have run out of gas. Refill it with the correct gas and try again.
Also check that:
- The magazine is fully inserted.
- The safety is disengaged.
- The slide has been cycled.
- The magazine is not too cold.
- Gel balls are loaded correctly.
Feeding or Loading Problems
Check that the gel balls are the correct size for your pistol. Incorrectly sized, poorly hydrated, soft or deformed gel balls can jam the magazine, feeding nozzle or barrel.
Drain excess water before loading, and remove any damaged or irregular gel balls.
Low FPS or Short Shooting Distance
Use hard, consistently sized gel balls suitable for your pistol. Soft or incorrectly sized gel balls may not seal properly inside the barrel, reducing power, accuracy and effective range.
Also check the magazine temperature. Gas pressure drops when the magazine becomes too cold.
Shots Become Very Weak
The magazine may have become too cold, particularly after rapid firing. Remove the magazine and allow it to return naturally to room temperature before using it again.
Do not use flames, boiling water, heaters or other rapid-heating methods to warm a gas magazine.
If performance remains weak after the magazine has warmed up, check the gas level and refill if necessary.
Gel Balls Are Smashing or Breaking
Use harder, consistently sized gel balls designed for gas-powered gel blasters. Soft, oversized, over-hydrated or damaged gel balls are more likely to break during feeding or firing.
Clean any broken gel material from the magazine, feeding area and barrel before continuing to use the pistol.
Still Having Problems?
Stop using the pistol if the problem continues. Contact CyberTrigger with your order number, pistol model, gas type, gel ball type and a short video showing the issue so our team can assist you.
