Picatinny grip guide

Choosing a Picatinny foregrip

Think about how much of your support hand you want on the grip and how much you prefer to keep on the handguard. An angled grip gives you a larger contact area underneath the rail; a compact handstop gives your hand a reference point without adding a full handle.

Compare the current grip options

Angled foregrip — 90g

The AF-P angled grip uses polymer construction and is listed at 90g, with dimensions of 4cm × 6cm × 8cm. Its package includes an Allen key. Compare the shape with your usual hand position and the space available below your rail.

Angled foregrip — 69g

This polymer angled grip is listed at 69g, with black and tan options. It has a solid internal design, not a storage compartment. Choose it for the grip shape and finish you prefer rather than expecting space for spare batteries or small parts.

Nylon handstop — 40g

The nylon handstop is listed at 40g and 5cm × 2.8cm × 5.3cm. It gives you a compact point to locate your hand while holding the handguard. The package lists the handstop, an Allen key and screws.

Match the rail interface

Picatinny grips fit matching Picatinny rails. The rail interface matters more than whether the blaster is an M4, 416 or another platform. If your handguard only has M-LOK slots where you want the grip, use a suitable Picatinny rail adaptor or choose a direct M-LOK grip.

Leave room for other attachments

Pick a rail position you can reach comfortably without blocking the controls or crowding a torch switch. Consider the grip and any rail covers together: the rail section used by the clamp needs to remain accessible.

Compare shape as well as weight

The current online options use nylon or polymer, with listed weights from 40g to 90g. A lighter handstop and a fuller angled grip serve different hand positions. If you are undecided, try the available shapes at our shop with your own blaster.

Picatinny foregrip questions

What is a Picatinny foregrip?

A Picatinny foregrip is a support-hand accessory that mounts to a raised Picatinny rail with cross-slots. It is fitted below the handguard, rather than replacing the pistol grip at the receiver. Our current range includes angled grips and a compact handstop.

Should I choose an angled foregrip or a handstop?

An angled foregrip gives your support hand a larger contact area below the rail. A handstop is a smaller reference point used while holding the handguard itself. Choose the shape that feels comfortable for your hand position and leaves enough room for the other attachments you use.

Will a Picatinny grip fit my M4, 416 or other gel blaster?

Yes, if it has a matching Picatinny rail. Compatibility is mainly determined by the mounting interface, not the blaster's platform name. A Picatinny grip fits a Picatinny rail; after matching the interface, choose a position with enough room for the grip and your hand.

Can I use a Picatinny foregrip on an M-LOK handguard?

Yes, with a suitable M-LOK-to-Picatinny rail adaptor. The adaptor mounts to the M-LOK slots and provides a Picatinny rail for the grip. A Picatinny grip does not fit directly into bare M-LOK slots. Alternatively, choose a direct M-LOK-compatible grip without adding a rail section.

Where should I position my foregrip?

Choose a rail position you can reach naturally while holding the blaster. Leave room for your hand, the grip clamp and nearby attachments such as a torch switch. There is no single position that suits every grip shape and handguard length; compare the setup with your own blaster.

Does the angled foregrip have a storage compartment?

The 69g nylon angled foregrip has a solid internal design and no storage compartment. Storage is a model-specific feature, not something included with every foregrip. Check the exact product description before choosing a grip to carry spare items.

Will a foregrip increase FPS or shooting range?

No. A foregrip changes your support-hand contact point; it does not change the gel blaster's internal firing system. Choose it for a comfortable hold and the external setup you prefer. Speak to our workshop separately if you want to discuss performance upgrades.

Can CyberTrigger help choose and fit a Picatinny grip?

Yes. Our QLD physical shop can help compare available grips and plan their position around your other attachments. Bring your blaster in or send us photos of its rail. Our Cyber Custom workshop can discuss fitting the grip or a suitable rail adaptor.
