Battery fit guide

Choose the pack around the blaster

LiPo means lithium polymer. For a gel blaster battery, the useful checks are voltage, power connector, pack shape and the demands of the exact setup. Start with those before comparing capacity; the largest battery on the page is not necessarily the right one.

Read the label, then check the space

7.4V or 11.1V

Standard 7.4V LiPo packs use two cells in series, labelled 2S; 11.1V packs use three, labelled 3S. Follow the voltage recommendation for your exact blaster and electronics. Do not assume every model can use 11.1V simply because the plug fits.

Deans, Tamiya, XT30 or JST

Match the actual connector on your blaster, not just the battery brand. The range includes several plug types, and JST-labelled products need particular attention to the exact connector. Send us a clear photo if you are unsure which one you have.

Pack dimensions and shape

Check length, width and thickness against the stock, buffer tube or handguard space. Compact packs and split nunchuck designs solve different fitting problems. Leave room for the connector and wires instead of forcing the pack into place.

Check what the battery will be powering

Capacity is not a fit guarantee

The mAh figure describes battery capacity. Compare it after voltage and fit, and check the pack's discharge rating against the blaster's requirements. A higher mAh number alone does not confirm suitability or tell you how long a particular setup will run.

HPA control is a separate use

The 300mAh 7.4V JST-SYP pack is listed for HPA control electronics. It is not a general substitute for a pack that drives an electric rifle's motor. Match the HPA controller's requirements separately.

Confirm the charger as well

A different battery can also change what you need from a charger. Check LiPo support, cell count and charging current before reusing an old charger. We can compare the battery, charging equipment and blaster together at our QLD physical shop.

Common questions

Can I use an 11.1V battery instead of a 7.4V battery?

Only when the exact blaster and its electrical setup support it. Voltage compatibility is separate from the connector and physical fit. Check the model's recommendation or ask our workshop before changing to 11.1V.

How do I choose a gel blaster battery connector?

Compare the plug on your blaster with the battery's specified connector and photos. Deans, Tamiya, XT30 and the different JST formats are not interchangeable. Send us a clear connector photo and the blaster model if you need help identifying it.

Will a higher-capacity battery fit my stock?

Not necessarily. Capacity is measured in mAh, but fit depends on the pack's length, width, thickness and shape. Check the actual measurements and leave space for the plug and wiring; do not choose by capacity alone.

Can the small HPA battery power my AEG?

The 300mAh 7.4V JST-SYP pack is intended for HPA control electronics, not as a general AEG motor battery. Choose a battery specified for the electrical system it will power, even if another pack has the same nominal voltage.

Can I charge a swollen or damaged LiPo battery?

No. Stop using it and do not attempt to recharge it. Follow the battery maker's handling and disposal guidance. Read the Gens ace LiPo instructions for its batteries rather than trying to recover a damaged pack.

Can CyberTrigger check which battery fits my blaster?

Yes. Bring the blaster to our QLD physical shop or send its exact model, connector photo and battery-space measurements. We can compare local stock and ask the Cyber Custom workshop to check any setup-specific requirements.
