Start with the model you own, not just the shape of the bottle or battery. Gel size, battery specifications and gas requirements can vary between blasters. These are the main things to check before buying.
Start with the inner barrel's internal diameter. Most pistols use a 7.3mm inner barrel and 7.3mm gels; most rifles use a 7.5mm inner barrel and 7.5mm gels. Check the exact model, especially after a barrel change, and follow the gel product's soaking instructions.
For an electric gel blaster, check the approved voltage, connector and battery dimensions. Deans and Tamiya are common, but matching the plug alone is not enough. The battery must fit the available space.
Choose green gas according to the blaster manufacturer's guidance and operating conditions. A higher pressure rating is not automatically a better choice. Check the exact model before changing gas type or pressure, especially if you are unsure what the magazine is designed to use.

Match the prepared gel size to your inner barrel's internal diameter. As a general guide, most pistols use 7.3mm inner barrels and 7.3mm gels, while most rifles use 7.5mm inner barrels and 7.5mm gels.
