417A2
The shorter option at 83–91 cm and about 3.4 kg. Its low-profile handguard and adjustable stock suit a modern battle-rifle build, with enough rail space for a red dot, light or foregrip.
Shorter, modern rifle profileThe current range has two full-metal E&C AEGs. Both use the same basic power system, so the main decision is whether you want the shorter 417A2 profile or the longer M110A1 DMR-style build.
They share the same Ultra Line internal specification. Pick between them by looking at the external shape, length, weight and the setup you want to build.
The shorter option at 83–91 cm and about 3.4 kg. Its low-profile handguard and adjustable stock suit a modern battle-rifle build, with enough rail space for a red dot, light or foregrip.
Shorter, modern rifle profileThe longer option at 92–100 cm and about 3.5 kg. The DMR-style body works well with a scope and bipod if you prefer a longer precision-rifle look.
Longer DMR-style profileBoth use full-metal or alloy external construction with a polymer pistol grip and stock. The listed weight is 3.4–3.5 kg, so they feel noticeably more substantial than a nylon receiver rifle.
Each rifle has a reinforced V2.5 metal gearbox, steel gears, full-steel-tooth piston and upgraded compression components. A programmable ESHOOTER V2 Basic MOSFET handles the electronic controls.
Both are listed at 290–320 FPS with an effective distance of 30–40 metres. Actual results still depend on gel preparation, hop-up setup and maintenance.
These are premium, full-metal rifles. To compare them with other metal platforms, browse our Premium Gel Blaster Rifles.
The 417 has a larger receiver and magazine format than a 416 or M4. It can share some internal component types with other AEG platforms, but that does not make complete gearboxes, magazines, receivers or external parts automatically interchangeable.
The 417 has the larger battle-rifle shape and a wider magazine profile. Choose it if you want that heavier visual style rather than the more common M4-sized platform.
Both categories suit longer DMR-style builds, but their receivers, magazines and external parts are different. Compare the exact model rather than treating every large-frame rifle as the same system.
The current 417A2 and M110A1 use a Deans battery connector and a 150-gel magazine. Before ordering a battery, magazine or internal part, match it to the exact E&C model. If you are unsure, send us the model name or bring the rifle to our Arundel showroom.
The 417 is the larger platform, with a different receiver and magazine format. AEG versions can share some internal component types with 416 and M4 systems, but fit still depends on the manufacturer, gearbox and exact part. Do not assume magazines or external parts will interchange.
Choose the 417A2 if you want the shorter modern battle-rifle shape. Choose the M110A1 if you prefer a longer DMR-style build with a scope and bipod. Their listed gearbox, electronics, FPS and magazine capacity are otherwise closely matched.
No. Magazine fit can vary by manufacturer and model, and gas magazines are not compatible with an AEG. The two current rifles are E&C AEGs using a 150-gel magazine. Check the exact model before ordering a spare.
Battery: Both current models use a Deans connector. The plug must match, and the battery must also fit the available stock space. Use a charger that supports the battery voltage and cell count.
Gel balls: Most standard gel balls will feed, but for a 290–320 FPS rifle we recommend a well-prepared hard gel that holds its shape. The options in our gel ball range are selected as high-quality hard gels.
Check the listing for the supplied box contents; the usual starting point is the rifle and one magazine. You will also need a compatible battery and charger and hydrated gel balls. The battery and charger can be used again after charging. A speed loader is optional, but useful for filling the 150-gel magazine.
Yes. We can assess the hop-up, compression, motor, gears and electronics, then recommend work based on whether you want a straighter trajectory, better response, higher rate of fire or improved durability.
We can also help with the external setup, including a compatible red dot, scope, flashlight, foregrip or bipod. Bring the rifle to the Arundel workshop so we can confirm fit before ordering parts.
