7.3mm hard gels
SUPER Blue and Purple are approximately 7.3mm hard gels in 90g bottles. Choose between these colours for a setup suited to 7.3mm gels; SUPER White is a separate 7.5mm option.
Start with your inner barrel's internal diameter, not just the gel colour. Most pistols use a 7.3mm inner barrel and most rifles use a 7.5mm inner barrel. These are general starting points: check the actual barrel, especially if it has been changed.

Choose SUPER White hard gels in a 90g bottle or Cyber 99% ultra-hard gels in a 50g pack. Both are approximately 7.5mm options for a suitable inner barrel.
Star River Hellfire Glow gels are listed at 7.2–7.35mm and designed for use with a tracer device. Check your tracer setup and gel-size requirements before choosing them.
Most pistols have a 7.3mm inner barrel, so 7.3mm gel balls are the usual starting point. Follow the recommendation for your specific model if it differs.
Most rifles have a 7.5mm inner barrel and use 7.5mm gel balls. Check the fitted barrel rather than assuming the original specification still applies after an upgrade.
A slightly smaller gel may be worth considering for a longer rifle barrel to reduce resistance as it travels through the inner barrel. The right choice depends on the particular barrel and setup.
Allow around 3 hours for all gel balls in our range to hydrate before loading, including SUPER Blue, White and Purple, Cyber 99% and Star River.
Bring your blaster details and the gels you currently use to our QLD physical shop. We carry local stock, offer in-house workshop advice and can help match a speed loader to your magazine.
For best performance, we recommend using freshly hydrated gel balls within one week. Keep them sealed between uses. Our 900ml loader bottle has a sealed design for storing your gels between refills.
You do not need to hydrate a whole bottle at once. Prepare only the amount you need, then close the cap tightly on the remaining dry gels. Smaller batches help keep your gels fresh and reduce waste.
Start with your inner barrel's internal diameter. Most pistols use a 7.3mm inner barrel and suit 7.3mm gels; most rifles use a 7.5mm inner barrel and suit 7.5mm gels. Check the exact model and any barrel upgrades. We recommend quality hard gels for higher-FPS setups.

Our gel balls need around 3 hours to hydrate. Check the packet before leaving gels in water overnight. If your gel’s instructions do not cover longer soaking, ask us about that product.

Not automatically. Match the prepared gel diameter to the inner barrel and check the recommendation for your particular blaster. For a longer rifle barrel, a slightly smaller gel may reduce resistance as it travels along the barrel, but the choice remains setup-specific. Our QLD workshop team can help you compare sizes.
Star River Hellfire tracer gels are designed to work best with a tracer device. Choose a compatible tracer setup for the glow effect; ordinary coloured SUPER gels are a different product.
