BYP-03B AKS-74N
This 952 mm model uses a nylon receiver, handguard and outer barrel, with a metal trigger, metal inner barrel and V3 metal gearbox. It is the lower-priced option at A$320.
Longer nylon build · A$320CyberTrigger currently carries two Double Bell electric AKs: a full-length AKS-74N-style rifle with a nylon receiver and a shorter AK-105 with a metal receiver. Both use V3 metal gearboxes and are listed at up to 300 FPS.
The main choice is between the longer, lower-priced nylon build and the shorter model with a metal receiver and barrel assembly. Both weigh approximately 3.04 kg according to the current product specifications.
This 952 mm model uses a nylon receiver, handguard and outer barrel, with a metal trigger, metal inner barrel and V3 metal gearbox. It is the lower-priced option at A$320.
Longer nylon build · A$320This 835 mm model uses a metal receiver, metal barrel assembly and nylon handguard. Its current listing also specifies a hop-up and 14 mm CCW barrel thread. It is priced at A$520.
Shorter metal-receiver build · A$520The AKS-74N uses more nylon through the receiver and front assembly. The AK-105 costs more because its receiver, barrel assembly, sights and several controls are listed as metal.
Both current models specify a V3 metal gearbox, metal gears, 18:1 gearing and a 7.5 mm stainless-steel inner barrel. Their product pages list performance of up to 300 FPS.
The AKS-74N is 952 mm long, while the AK-105 is 835 mm. Both are listed at approximately 3.04 kg, so the shorter rifle changes the balance and handling without being a lightweight model.
The two current AK models use V3 gearboxes. In the Australian market, most M4 / AR15 AEGs use a V2 gearbox, so the internal layout and compatible replacement parts are different.
AK magazines, receiver shape and controls are platform-specific. Do not assume an M4 magazine or internal component will fit an AK simply because both rifles are electric AEGs.
Choose the AK if you prefer its body shape, curved magazine and handling. Choose an M4 / AR15 if you want the broader range of current models and platform-specific upgrade choices.
Check the exact model before buying parts. AK magazines and V3 gearbox components can still vary by brand and generation. Send us the manufacturer and model, or bring the rifle to our Arundel shop, before ordering a replacement or upgrade part.
Both current product descriptions list one hi-cap magazine, an 11.1V battery and a USB charger in the package. Package contents can change, so check the individual product page before ordering. You will also need hydrated gel balls; a speed loader is optional.
In CyberTrigger's current range, the BYP-03B AKS-74N is the longer and lower-priced model, with a nylon receiver, handguard and outer barrel. The 008B AK-105 is 117 mm shorter and uses a metal receiver and barrel assembly. Both are electric AEGs with V3 metal gearboxes.
Both Double Bell AK models currently listed by CyberTrigger specify a V3 metal gearbox with metal gears and 18:1 gearing. This should not be treated as universal for every AK gel blaster, so check the exact manufacturer and model before ordering internal parts.
The main differences are the receiver shape, controls, magazine format and gearbox platform. The current Double Bell AKs use V3 gearboxes, while most M4 / AR15 AEGs in the Australian market use V2 gearboxes. Magazines and internal parts are not interchangeable between the two platforms.
Both current listings include an 11.1V battery and USB charger in the stated package contents. Check the listing before ordering because inclusions can change. The rifles are designed for hydrated 7–8 mm gels; CyberTrigger's gel ball range consists of high-quality hard gels suitable for higher-output blasters.
Yes. The Cyber Custom workshop can inspect the exact rifle and discuss hop-up, trajectory, compression, motor, gears, response, consistency and durability. The available work depends on the model and the compatible V3 components available.
