External construction
A metal receiver, handguard, trigger and outer barrel add weight and a firmer feel. Stocks, pistol grips and other furniture may still use polymer, so check the individual product specification.
A full-metal gel blaster rifle uses metal for the receiver, handguard, trigger, outer barrel and gearbox components. It normally feels more solid in the hands and gives the workshop a stronger base for performance and durability work, but the exact internal setup still matters.
Two rifles can share the same outline and still feel very different. Compare the construction and the parts fitted inside, not just the model name or one FPS figure.

The gearbox shell, gears, motor, compression parts, wiring and electronics affect performance, response and long-term durability. These parts also determine how much room there is for later upgrades.
Receiver fit, rail alignment and parts availability all matter once the rifle is used and serviced. We select brands we can support with workshop knowledge, replacement parts and compatible upgrades.
Choose full metal if you want more weight, a more solid external build and a strong base for performance work. The metal receiver, handguard, outer barrel, trigger and gearbox parts generally offer better durability, although maintenance and the exact internal specification still matter.
These rifles use a reinforced nylon receiver to reduce weight and price. Their metal small parts, handguard, outer barrel, trigger and internal performance specification remain the same as the matching full-metal version.
Browse reinforced-nylon riflesMaterial does not set the FPS. A metal receiver can improve feel and durability, but muzzle velocity, rate of fire and response come from the internal configuration and tune. Ask us to compare the complete specification if two models look similar.
An electric rifle is the practical choice for regular field use. Batteries and chargers are reusable, magazines generally hold more gels, and the Australian market has broader parts and upgrade support for common AEG platforms.
Browse electric riflesA gas blowback rifle is chosen for its operating feel, moving action and recoil. Magazines usually hold about 30 gels, Green Gas is an ongoing consumable, and magazine compatibility must be checked against the exact system.
Browse gas riflesA pre-built or workshop build suits customers who want a particular result. We can work on trajectory, trigger response, muzzle velocity, rate of fire and durability, then match the external setup to your preference.

The widest choice of barrel lengths, modern rail styles and external builds. Common AEG versions also have mature magazine, repair-part and upgrade support.
Broadest choice and parts supportLarger receivers and magazines give these rifles a heavier battle-rifle or DMR profile. Check the exact magazine and internal system before ordering parts.
Larger rifle and DMR stylingShorter platforms suit customers who prefer less front-end length and a modern external layout. Compare stock design, battery space and proprietary parts.
Compact modern configurationsSend us the manufacturer and exact model before buying a magazine, battery or upgrade part. If you are unsure, bring the rifle to our Arundel showroom and we can check the fit with you.
In this range, full metal refers to a metal receiver, handguard, trigger and outer barrel together with metal gearbox components. Stocks, pistol grips and other furniture can still be polymer. Check the individual listing for the exact material breakdown.
It generally provides a stronger external build and a solid base for workshop upgrades, but durability also depends on the gearbox, gears, motor, electronics, assembly and maintenance. Metal construction is one part of the complete specification.
No. Receiver and handguard material do not determine muzzle velocity. FPS, rate of fire, response and consistency depend on the internal parts and tune. A heavier rifle can feel more substantial without automatically shooting harder.
Our Value Line and Value Plus use a reinforced nylon receiver to reduce weight and price. The metal small parts, handguard, outer barrel, trigger and internal performance specification remain the same as the matching full-metal version.
Choose an AEG if you want easier regular use, larger magazine capacity and broader repair or upgrade support. Choose a GBBR if the moving action, recoil and operating feel matter more. Gas magazines hold fewer gels and Green Gas needs to be replaced as it is used.
The blaster and one magazine are normally included, but confirm the contents on the individual product page. You will also need a compatible battery and charger and hydrated gel balls. The battery and charger are reusable. A speed loader is optional, and is useful when you want to refill the magazine more quickly.
No. Compatibility depends on the platform, manufacturer and exact model. Magazine shape, feed position, electrical contacts, rail systems and internal parts can differ even when two rifles look similar. Ask us to check before ordering.
Yes. Depending on the rifle and the result you want, Cyber Custom can tune the hop-up and trajectory, work on muzzle velocity or rate of fire, improve trigger response with a brushless motor or MOSFET, and replace internal parts for better consistency and durability. We can also match compatible optics, lights and foregrips.
